WIZARDRY is a collection of 54 playing cards featuring characters inspired by J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series and includes a series of card games written specifically for the cards. This project has been ongoing for nearly three years and was successfully funded through Kickstarter in September 2016.
I designed and drew each card, plus the instructions pamphlet and boxing for the deck using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign. The video was created through Adobe Premiere Pro.
Each character design is completely my own and not based on any existing canon illustrations or film actors. With every card design, I carefully considered color schemes, textures, and pivotal story moments to inform the look of the cards and the cohesive look of the entire deck. The completed cards include numbers and suits while the "art print" versions have the letter initial of the characters.
I now sell the deck at Comic conventions and Etsy.

As part of the rewards system on the Kickstarter campaign, I also drew Harry Potter caricatures of backers. Depending on the amount they had pledged, they could receive a digital illustration with Hogwarts house colors, a caricature plus an animal familiar, and even fully illustrated scenes.
